Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SalesFaucet Inc. ("SalesFaucet," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use salesfaucet.ai, the SalesFaucet app, the SalesFaucet Academy and the creator program (together, the "Service"). It also explains how we handle business contact information about people who are not our users.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email address, company, job title, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Content you upload or enter: documents, spreadsheets, lists, notes, search queries and Academy materials (for example a pitch deck, buyer profile or call notes), plus your role-play conversations and scorecards.
• Creator program details: your referral link activity and the information we need to pay commissions.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or through a form.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data: pages and features used, actions taken, approximate usage counts, browser type, IP address and timestamps, used to run, secure and improve the Service.
• Cookies: see section 8.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive limited billing information from Stripe, such as your plan, payment status and a customer reference.

Business contact information from other sources

We collect business contact information (see section 3) from content our users upload, from publicly available sources, and from data and enrichment providers.

2. How we use information

• Provide the Service: extract and organize contacts, surface buying signals, find similar companies, run Academy role-plays and generate case studies.
• Operate accounts, process payments, pay creator commissions and send service emails (sign-in, verification, receipts and updates you request).
• Build and maintain the shared business contact database described in section 3.
• Keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce usage limits.
• Understand usage and improve the product.
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

3. The shared business contact database

SalesFaucet maintains a database of business contact information: a person's name, job title, company, work email address, work phone number, company website and general location. Subscribers can search this database and export results to find prospects.

• Uploads add to it. When you upload material in Lead Tools or the Academy, business contact details found in that material may be added to the shared database. We tell you this at the point of upload. Only upload material you are permitted to share.
• Your documents stay private. We do not share the documents you upload, your deal details, notes, pricing, conversations or other content with other users. Only the business contact fields listed above are added.
• Removal and opt-out. If you are in our database and want to be removed, or want to opt out of your information being made available to subscribers, email privacy@salesfaucet.ai with the email address to remove. We will remove it and suppress it from being re-added.

4. Academy uploads and custom role-plays

When you build a custom role-play, the text of your files is read in your browser and sent to our servers and our AI provider to generate your scenario and case study. Custom scenarios and case studies are visible only to you. Business contact details found in the material are handled as described in section 3.

5. How we share information

We share information only as described in this policy:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), Resend (email delivery), Hunter (email lookup and verification) and, if enabled, Google Analytics (usage analytics). They may use the information only to provide their services to us. Our AI provider processes content under commercial terms that do not permit it to train its models on that content.
• Subscribers, who can access the shared business contact database described in section 3.
• Creators receive aggregate referral results, not your personal account details.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of SalesFaucet, our users or others.
• Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your account information or the content you upload. Making business contact information available to subscribers (section 3) may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some U.S. state privacy laws; you can opt out as described in sections 3 and 9.

6. Retention

We keep account information and your content while your account is open and as needed to provide the Service. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your account information and private content within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it for legal, tax, security or dispute purposes. Business contact records in the shared database are kept until they are removed on request or become outdated.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication, server-side handling of all third-party API keys, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

We use a secure session cookie to keep you signed in (it lasts up to 30 days) and related cookies for login security. If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but signing in requires the session cookie.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and other U.S. states, and the EU or UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to appeal our decision on your request. You can update most account details in the app. For anything else, email privacy@salesfaucet.ai. We will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.

10. Children

The Service is meant for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

SalesFaucet is based in the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app before the changes take effect.
